Karner (6-foot-5, 220 pounds), is a four-star recruit and the No. 9-ranked player in Illinois for the class of 2024, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He took an official visit to A&M on June 16, according to 247Sports. A&M now has eight commits in its 2024 recruiting class, including six from out of state.
